Libya sack coach
Libya football authorities have dismissed their national team coach Mohsen Saleh after a lacklustre start to 2008 African Nations Cup qualifiers.
Local coach Abu Baker Bany will act as caretaker coach while a permanent replacement is sought.
Mohsen, who is a former Egypt international, was only given the job six months ago.
"I wanted to help advance Libyan football but I can do nothing because of the pressure to get good results quickly," said Mohsen.
"Good results need time and sustained work," he added.
Libya have one point from their two Group 10 qualifiers so far, trailing Ethiopia, Namibia and leaders DR Congo.
The 2008 finals will be held in Ghana.
