Benin revived their hopes of reaching the 2008 Nations Cup with a 2-0 victory over Sierra Leone.
Goalkeeper Rachad Chitou opened the scoring after 22 minutes by converting a penalty in the Group Nine qualifier in Cotonou.
The home side doubled their lead in the 77th minute when Mouri Ogoubiyi slotted from close range.
Result: Mali 1-0 Togo(08/10/06)
Dramane Traore scored in the fourth minute of second-half injury time to give Mali a 1-0 victory over Togo.
Result: Sierra Leone 0-0 Mali (03/09/06)
