Final line-up for 2002 Nations Cup Finals in Mali:
Cameroon, Mali, Nigeria, Zambia, South Africa, Liberia, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Togo, Senegal, Ghana, DR Congo, Egypt, Ivory Coast
.

Group Three
Tunisia 4-1 Kenya
Morocco 0-1 Gabon

Tunisia completed the Mali 2002 jigsaw on Sunday evening when they thrashed Kenya 4-1 in Tunis.

The Tunisian strikers missed a string of chances during the opening minutes, but the turning point came on the half hour when Algerian referee Kamal Barbar sent off Kenyan defender Waweru Japhet for a foul.

Group Three table
1 Morocco P6 GD 5-4 Pts 10
2 Tunisia P6 GD 9-7 Pts 8
3 Gabon P6 GD 8-8 Pts 8
4 Kenya P6 GD 5-8 Pts 6

Ali Zitouni put the Tunisians ahead two minutes later and Ziad Jaziri added two more before the break.

Mulama Simon pulled one back for the visitors in the 61st minute, but Zitouni bagged his second of the match just seconds later.

The Tunisians needed a good win after a surprise 1-0 victory by Gabon over Morocco in Fez.

The Tunisians only scraped through on goal difference in the end.

Group Four:
Burkina Faso 1-0 Algeria
Angola 2-1 Burundi

Earlier in the day Burkina Faso put themselves into their fourth consecutive Nations Cup finals with a narrow win over group leaders Algeria in Ouagadougou.

Group Four table
1 Algeria P6 GD 9-7 Pts 11
2 Burkina Faso P6 GD 4-3 Pts 11
3 Angola P6 GD 8-7 Pts 8
4 Burundi P6 GD 2-6 Pts 2

A single goal by Seydou Traore just before half-time was all that separated the two sides and it maintained the Burkinabe's 100 per cent home record.

Algeria hang onto top spot in the group only by virtue of their better goal difference.

Angola gave Burkina Faso a run for their money by beating Burundi 2-1 in Cabinda, which forced the West Africans to seek a result.

Group Six:
DR Congo 2-1 Zimbabwe
Ghana 3-1 Lesotho

The Democratic Republic of Congo overcame a first half deficit to stun Zimbabwe with two quick goals that handed them the second Group Six qualifying spot.

Group Six table
1 Ghana P6 GD 16-8 Pts 13
2 DR Congo P6 GD 7-9 Pts 8
3 Lesotho P6 GD 7-9 Pts 6
4 Zimbabwe P6 GD 8-12 Pts 6

Early in the second period it was Bafwafwa who hit first and then a minute later it was Mulekayi who found the back of the net at the Stade de Martyrs in Kinshasa.

It means that perennial failures Zimbabwe are again denied a place in a major football competition.

Leaders Ghana sailed to an easy win over Lesotho to leave them five points clear at the top of the table.

Group One:
Madagascar 0-1 Zambia
Namibia 0-2 Nigeria

Zambia were the first team to snap up one of the last four places at Mali 2002 that were on offer this weekend.

They beat Madagascar by a single goal in Antananarivo thanks to a strike from Lungu, while Namibia went down 2-0 to group victors Nigeria.

Group One table
1 Nigeria P6 GD 9-1 Pts 14
2 Zambia P6 GD 5-5 Pts 8
3 Madagascar P6 GD 5-7 Pts 5
4 Namibia P6 GD 5-11 Pts 5

All three teams behind the Super Eagles began this final round of qualifying with five points, giving them all the opportunity of making to Mali.

But it was Zambia who kept their nerve to take three points and the Nations Cup place.
