Nottingham residents are being urged to wear green to back the city's World Cup bid when delegates visit this month.
Nottingham is one of 15 cities seeking to be part of the Football Association's drive to host the tournament in England in 2018.
The campaign's green branding plays up the links with Robin Hood, Brian Clough's famous sweater, and also plans for a new "green" stadium.
Delgates from the FA will visit Nottingham on Thursday, 16 July.
Residents are being encouraged to display green "I'm backing the bid" stickers, and wear colour co-ordinated clothing to make a big impression when the FA visits.
The city's bid will be based on its football heritage and the facilities it could offer to the FA.
