Weather halts Railway tradition
The tradition of holding the Railway Cup Final on Boxing Day will be broken this year due to a unavoidable fixture build-up.
The cup is contested by the top four teams in the Sure Mobile Premier League at the halfway point in the season.
Several weekends of bad weather have meant the halfway stage of the season will not be reached in time.
The Isle of Man Football Association now plan to play the first semi-final on Boxing Day.
The second semi-final will take place the following day on Saturday, 27 December.
Currently, no date has been set for the final.
As it stands the top four are Peel, St Georges, St Mary's and Rushen but DHOB are still in the running.
The IOM FA will be hoping for several weeks of good weather as any further postponements will result in another delay.
