Brighton 2-0 Swindon
Brighton beat Swindon to reach the southern area semi-finals of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Brighton went ahead when defender Patrick Kanyuka was adjudged to have brought down Nicky Forster, who stepped up to slot in the resultant penalty.
With Swindon pressing, Kanyuka then gave away a corner and David Livermore rose to head in Dean Cox's set-piece.
Kanyuka had a header saved by Michel Kuipers and Jon-Paul McGovern's shot was blocked as Brighton eased through.
Brighton: Kuipers, Whing, Elphick, Virgo (Fraser 48), Richards, Cox, Livermore, El-Abd, McLeod (Loft 77), Anyinsah, Forster.
Subs Not Used: Sullivan, Robinson, Cook.
Booked: Livermore.
Goals: Forster 24 pen, Livermore 75.
