Away matches for SWPL top three

Football

The top three sides in the South West Peninsula League are all on the road on Saturday as they look to keep up the pace at the head of the table.

Leaders Ivybridge Town have a short journey down the A38 to take on sixth placed Plymouth Parkway.

Buckland Athletic are also heading west as they go to seventh-placed Tavistock, who have lost only once all season.

Third-placed Dartmouth, who are a point behind Buckland and two further back from Ivybridge, face St Blazey.

Champions Bodmin Town, who have four games in hand on the leaders, go to Liskeard Athletic, as they look to bounce back from their FA Vase defeat last week.

Fifth-placed Launceston, who also lost in the FA Vase, host fourth-placed Torpoint Athletic in a key game towards the top.

Saltash United, who were the only SWPL side to win in the Vase last week, host Cullompton Rangers who are having their Vase match replayed after a refereeing error.

At the bottom there's a six-pointer at Elburton as Villa, who are second from bottom, host third from bottom Witheridge, who are the only side in the league still looking to get a win.

Fourth from bottom Holsworthy go to Newton Abbot Spurs while their town rivals Newton Abbot, who are fifth from bottom, go to mid-table Wadebridge Town.

Bottom side Falmouth Town, who go their first win of the season last weekend, travel to 10th-placed Clyst Rovers.
