South west sides prepare for Vase

Football

Eight sides from Devon and Cornwall are set to play in the FA Vase this weekend, with the counties guaranteed at least one side in the second round.

Western Premier side Barnstaple Town host Dorset's Hamworthy United after beating Newton Abbot in the last round.

Fellow Western League side Dawlish Town entertain SWPL Premier side Launceston, who progressed after beating Keynesham Town in the last round.

SWPL champions Bodmin Town face a tough trip to Brislington.

And SWPL runners-up Saltash United also have a difficult away tie at Sherbourne Town, while Tavistock go to Frome Town.

SWPL Western division side Porthleven have one of the toughest draws on paper as they go to Larkhall Athletic.

Cullompton Rangers are the other SWPL side in action, they host Willand Rovers.
