Former Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock has challenged a club to give him one last shot at management.
Warnock, 58, resigned after the Blades' relegation from the Premiership in May, ending a seven-and-a-half-year stint at the Bramall Lane helm.
He told BBC Five Live Sport: "I think there is another club, chairman and group of fans out there who would relish me taking over.
"It was time to move on from Sheffield United but the club is in good shape."
Warnock revealed he had contemplated retirement but his appetite for the game is now restored.
He said: "A few years ago I thought I would pack it in at 55 but certain things happened at particular times and it made me want to carry on managing and I have enjoyed it."

Warnock's managerial career started at Scarborough and also took him to Notts County, Huddersfield, Plymouth, Oldham and Bury before he was appointed at Sheffield United.
He arguably has a reputation of being one of the game's most fiery characters and admitted his style may not be to everyone's liking.
"People either love me or hate me and we can't all be bland," he stated.
"Even journalists who don't like me have had some good articles out of me."
Warnock also gave his full backing to Sheffield United's fight to retain their Premier League status.
The Blades are due to attend an independent arbitration panel on Monday, over the decision not to dock points from West Ham for breaching ownership rules over the signing of Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano, who is now at Liverpool.
West Ham were fined £5.5m but ended up staving off relegation, while Sheffield United dropped into the Championship on goal difference from fourth-from-bottom Wigan.
Warnock said: "I think the club is quite right to carry on the fight. Most people thought at the time it was an injustice.
"I'm not anticipating a reversal of the decision and West Ham got the points on the board over the last few games.
"But the club are right to take the fight as far as they can."
