Spurs and Boro punished for brawl
Tottenham and Middlesbrough have been fined and warned about their future conduct by the Football Association after a mass brawl in December.
They were charged with failing to control their players after ugly scenes in Spurs' 2-1 win at White Hart Lane.
Spurs were fined £8,000, with £4,000 suspended for 12 months.
Middlesbrough were fined £4,000, with £2,000 suspended, after a game in which Spurs' Didier Zokora and Boro's George Boateng were sent off.
Boateng appealed successfully against the red card for his part in a scuffle with Zokora, which sparked the brawl.
Boateng was sent off along with Zokora following a challenge on Aaron Lennon.
Holland international midfielder Boateng had already been dismissed previously this season and faced a four-match ban before the decision was overturned.
