Younis misses national Twenty20
Younis Khan is set to miss Pakistan's national Twenty20 championship so he can play for South Australia.
The 30-year-old Pakistan batsman is also doubtful for the international Twenty20 in Toronto which also features Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Canada.
"Younis took clearance from the board before signing his contract with South Australia," said Pakistan Cricket Board director of operations Zakir Khan.
"He has to make himself available for national duty when he is required."
Younis will be the only high-profile Pakistan player absent from the Twenty20 domestic tournament in October.
Fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has now been given permission to play by the PCB after a legal row over the payment of a seven-million-rupee (US$247,600) fine.
