Five of the New Zealand side that beat England in the first Test are set to be snapped up at the second Indian Premier League (IPL) auction on Tuesday.
Ross Taylor, Jamie How, Jeetan Patel, Chris Martin and Kyle Mills will be bid for by the eight franchise teams.
Daniel Vettori, Brendon McCullum and Jacob Oram have already signed up for the lucrative Twenty20 tournament.
All New Zealand Test players competing in the IPL are likely to miss the start of their country's tour to England.
Their first tour match is against MCC on 27 April and the IPL runs from April 18 to 1 June.
It has been reported that players will be allowed to leave India on 5 May, just 10 days before the first Test at Lord's and after the first three warm-up matches, but their earnings from the IPL will be reduced accordingly.
In that case New Zealand captain Vettori, who was signed by Delhi Daredevils for US$625,000, would play six of the 13 round robin games but lose an estimated US$336,500 for missing the final seven games and possible semi-final and final.

New Zealand Cricket (NZC) chief executive Justin Vaughan told the Herald newspaper last month that he was "quite relaxed" about whether the players should arrive in England with the rest of the national side.
"On one hand the traditional thought is that is what has always happened," he said.
"But we do need to appreciate we are in a changing landscape. We've got to have a pragmatic approach."
Vaughan said if the NZC's view was that all players should be in England for the four warm-up matches, every endeavour would be made for that to happen.
Vettori acknowledged it was important for the captain to be there from the start of the tour, but the players were entitled to benefit from the new money in cricket.
"We're talking about people's financial futures as well," he said.
"My heart is with New Zealand cricket. I want to play for New Zealand as long as I can, no way do I want to jeopardise that. But we also want to be able to get the best of both worlds."
Tuesday's auction in Mumbai is expected to be a slightly more low-key affair than the star-studded first, which was worth US$42 million.

The eight franchises - Jaipur, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mohali and Mumbai - still have unspent money, which has prompted a second round of bidding.
New Zealand have more players up for auction than any other nation (seven) but Australia pair Shane Watson and James Hopes are two of the most high-profile targets.
South Africa batsman Ashwell Prince, Bangladesh captain Mohammad Ashraful and Pakistan's Mohammad Yousuf and Misbah-ul-Haq are also available.
The inaugural IPL season starts April 18 in the southern city of Bangalore.
