Jones earns his wickets - Solanki
Worcestershire captain Vikram Solanki insists that Simon Jones' good form is simply due reward for all his efforts in battling back from injury.
Jones took 5-32 in Sunday's one-day win over Hampshire and then 5-92 in the current County Championship game against Gloucestershire.
"Simon worked hard during the winter," Solanki told BBC Hereford & Worcester.
"He picked up a niggle. But it's fantastic that, now he's back, he has managed to get two five-fors."
Jones and Worcestershire are twice in Friends Provident Trophy action in the space of three days once the game with Gloucestershire ends at New Road on Saturday.
They go to Taunton to face Somerset on Sunday (1200 BST) before moving on to The Rose Bowl for the day-night game against Hampshire on Tuesday (1430 BST).
