Mason hopes to be fit for opener
Worcestershire bowler Matt Mason is confident he will be fit in time for the start of the Championship season.
Mason missed virtually all last summer after undergoing shoulder surgery, but he told BBC Hereford and Worcester he is happy with his general fitness.
"I picked up a little niggle in my side at training last week so that's why I haven't taken part in these last two games," the 34-year-old said.
"My first target will be the one-dayer on Saturday, but I'm not far away."
