Giles pleased with battling Bears

Ashley Giles

Warwickshire's director of cricket has hailed his team's resilience after they salvaged a draw against Leicestershire in the County Championship.

Ashley Giles' men are unbeaten in the competition this season and lie in second place in Division Two.

Giles told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "Psychologically it's good for us. It sends a clear message to other teams.

"Even when we've been in trouble we will battle and get ourselves out of that trouble."
