Former Zimbabwe captain Heath Streak has confirmed that he will be playing for Warwickshire this summer.
Streak has also consulted legal advice after the Zimbabwe Cricket Union announced he had retired "from all forms of cricket".
In a statement, made by his father Dennis, Streak made it clear he had not retired from international cricket.

He added: "All he said was that if his concerns were not addressed he would consider possible retirement from international cricket."
He was speaking on behalf of Heath who, by nature of his contract with the ZCU, cannot make press statements regarding his employment.
"In the circumstances the ZCU has acted unlawfully in unilaterally terminating Heath's position as captain and member of the Zimbabwe national squad," continued the statement.
"He is seeking legal advice regarding this matter and enjoys overwhelming support and encouragement from both his fellow players and the cricketing public of Zimbabwe."
The player had demanded that there be an immediate review of the selection panel to leave a maximum of four selectors who should have played first-class or Test cricket and would not be directors or commentators.
"The board could not meet his ultimatum, and immediately accepted the fact that he was resigning," said Peter Chingoka, the chairman of the ZCU.
Streak and Australian spinner Brad Hogg are Warwickshire's nominated overseas players for the summer, although they have also signed Dewald Pretorius as cover.

That would be a setback for Pretorius, who was hoping to persuade the club to offer him a longer term contract.
He has played four Tests, the last against England at Headingley last year, and also played county cricket for Durham in 2003.
The 26-year-old is a protégé of former Warwickshire fast bowler Allan Donald, who plays alongside him for Free State in South African domestic cricket.
