Brown plans more talks with Hants

Michael Brown

Batsman Michael Brown will hold more talks with Hampshire at the end of the season to discuss his Rose Bowl future.

Reports at the weekend claimed the 28-year-old would open the batting for relegated Surrey next season.

But Brown told BBC Radio Solent: "I'm just concentrating on the last game, then I'll sit down with the club and discuss my future."

Brown is believed to be unhappy at not having a regular place in the county's one-day side.

Hampshire bring the curtain down on their season by facing title-chasing Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge in the County Championship, starting on Wednesday.
