Group is open for anyone - Gidman

Alex Gidman

Gloucestershire all-rounder Alex Gidman believes their South West group in the FP Trophy has been thrown wide open.

"I think you could probably lose one and still be in the mix with results going the way they are," Gidman told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

"With ourselves and Somerset losing, it means now that Worcestershire are back in it if they were to win a couple."

"It's massive, it really is, it's wide open and I'm looking forward to the next round of the competition."

Gloucestershire take on Glamorgan in Cardiff on Friday, with both sides looking to bounce back after Bank Holiday weekend defeats.
