Rain frustrates Hawks' Pro40 bid

Pro40, D1, Rose Bowl:
Hampshire v Worcestershire
: Match abandoned because of rain
Points: Hampshire 1, Worcestershire 1 Match scorecard

Hampshire's Pro40 Division One title hopes suffered a set-back when their final match against Worcestershire was abandoned because of heavy rain.

Play had been scheduled to start at 1245 BST, but the umpires called off play before a ball could be bowled.

Both teams earn a point each, but Division One leaders Hampshire must now rely on other results going their way.

Sussex trail by two points but have two games in hand while Notts are four points adrift with three games in hand.
