Heavy rain hits County programme
Rain affected the start of Tuesday's round of County Championship matches, with no play possible in four of the day's six scheduled fixtures.
Day one of the eagerly-awaited top-of-the-table Division One clash between Durham and Nottinghamshire was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
It was the same story at Old Trafford, where the match between Lancashire and Yorkshire was washed out.
In Division Two, Glamorgan-Gloucs and Warwickshire-Essex were abandoned.
