Lancashire & Middlesex abandoned

NATWEST PRO40 Division One, Old Trafford

Lancashire and Middlesex's Pro40 Division One clash was abandoned on Sunday without a ball being bowled.

Though only a couple of light showers fell at Old Trafford after midday, overnight rain was the main cause for the game to be called off.

Both teams were frustrated by the inclement weather, but Lancashire are getting used to it.

They have now had three washed-out games this campaign and had to deal with four last year.
