Surrey set a new one-day world record as they piled up an astonishing 496-4 from 50 overs against Gloucestershire in their FP Trophy game at The Oval.
Ali Brown and James Benning set them on their way with an opening stand of 294, with Brown racing to a 50-ball century.
He was eventually bowled by Marcus North for 176, but Benning made 152 and Rikki Clarke weighed in at the end with an unbeaten 82 off only 28 balls.
Gloucestershire were all out for 239 in 34.1 overs to lose by 257 runs.
A total of 22 sixes and 47 fours were struck during the Surrey innings.

Surrey cricket manager Alan Butcher said the run-fest was "a pleasure to watch."
He added: "You won't see too many matches like this in one-day cricket where a team racks up this many runs.
"Conditions were very good for batting but it was still an incredibly faultless display by the likes of Ali, James and Rikki in particular."
By contrast, Gloucestershire produced a much more modest batting effort, and Mohammad Akram cashed in with 4-36.
At one point, Gloucestershire were 65-5, staring at a possible 300-run loss.
But Mark Hardinges and Steve Adshead each hit fifties to restore a modicum of respectability.
