Marshall steers Glos to victory
NatWest Pro40, Division 2: Gloucestershire 282-5 (38.1 overs) beat Surrey 278-6 (40 overs) by five wickets
Hamish Marshall hit an inspired 105 not out as Gloucestershire won by five wickets in their Pro40 game at Surrey.
The Kiwi's century at the Brit Oval came in 113 minutes off 84 balls and included 10 fours and a pair of sixes.
Surrey were 278-6, with openers James Benning (52) and Scott Newman (53), then Mark Ramprakash (58) and Jon Batty (53) all making half-centuries.
Marshall's effort was nearly matched by team-mate Ian Harvey who made 91 in Gloucestershire's winning 282-5 total.
The win keeps them at the top of the table and in with a great chance of promotion from the Second Division.
