A patient knock of 95 by Tim Ambrose and his century partnership with Bas Zuiderent enabled Sussex to record an easy 125-run win against Buckinghamshire.
Ambrose's 95 off 138 deliveries included six boundaries and a six and.
He added 112 runs with Zuiderent for the second wicket before Saleem broke the partnership dismissing Zuiderent for 50.
Sussex posted a good total of 268 for six in their 50 overs. Paul Cottey and Murray Goodwin scored 42 and 37 runs respectively.
In return, Buckinghamshire could score only 143 runs in 50 overs for seven wickets.
For them, Zaheer Sher was left stranded on 55 not out as Billy Taylor took three for 23, the pick of the Sussex bowling.
