Harvey resigns as Staffs captain
Richard Harvey has stood down as captain of Staffordshire and retired from three-day cricket.
But the 34-year-old batsman will continue to be available for the county's one-day side.
Harvey is likely to be replaced by Paul Goodwin after the Knypersley wicket-keeper was recommended for the job by the Staffordshire Cricket committee.
Meanwhile, former Staffs captain Nick Archer has stood down as county chairman after six years in the role.
