Jayasuriya makes Sri Lanka squad

Jayasuriya, 37, batted at six in Sri Lanka's win over England at Trent Bridge in June having missed the first two matches in that series.

But he may return in his more customary opening role, alongside Upul Tharanga.

Left-arm spinner Rangana Herath, who last played a Test 10 months ago, is also in the squad but may become unavailable because of injury.

Sajeewa Weerakoon is on official stand-by for Herath.

Jayasuriya was not officially listed in the squad for the Tests in England, having officially "retired" after his 100th Test in April.

But he re-appeared midway through the series and was man-of-the-series opening the batting in the one-day internationals.
