Pakistan name squad to face India

Pakistan Cricket Pakistan have included uncapped spin bowler Abdul Rahman in a 14-man squad for two one-day matches against India in Abu Dhabi later this month.

But there is no place for opening batsman Salman Butt following a run of low scores.

The games on 18-19 April are the first in a plan to take cricket to countries with large expatriate populations.

And money from the first will be donated to the Kashmir earthquake relief appeal fund.

"We will donate 75% of the earnings of the first match for the Pakistani earthquake victims and 25% will go to those affected by the quake in India," said Pakistan Cricket Board official Asad Mustafa.

The matches will also give Inzamam-ul-Haq's side a chance to gain a measure of revenge after losing 4-1 to India in a home one-day series earlier this year.

The selectors have also named a strong Pakistan A squad, to be led by Hasan Raza, for the EuroAsia Trophy event, which will also be held in Abu Dhabi from 22 April to 5 May.

They will take on India A, Sri Lanka A and the national teams from Ireland, The Netherlands and the UAE.

Pakistan squad: Inzamam-ul-Haq (captain), Younis Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Imran Farhat, Faisal Iqbal, Shoaib Malik, Shahid Afridi, Abdul Razzaq, Mohammad Asif, Kamran Akmal, Rao Iftikhar, Rana Naved, Danish Kaneria, Abdul Rahman.

Pakistan A squad: Hasan Raza (capt), Yasir Hameed, Taufeeq Umar, Mohammad Hafeez, Bazid Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Yousuf, Mansoor Amjad, Zulqarnain Haider (wkt), Tahir Khan, Umar Gul, MOhammad Irshad, Yasir Arafat, Samiullah Niazi.
