Freak mishap sidelines Jayasuriya
Sanath Jayasuriya has been ruled out of the remainder of Sri Lanka's tour of New Zealand after slipping in the shower and dislocating his shoulder.
The opener was due to play in the one- day international in Christchurch but was a late withdrawal.
"Sanath was reaching for his shampoo when he slipped and fell," team manager Michael Tissera said.
Tissera said Jayasuriya was unlikely to play in the remaining matches in Wellington and Napier.
He will remain with the team when they fly to Australia for a one-day VB Series with Australia and South Africa.
