Scotland's Women have recruited Australian Julia Price as a member of their coaching team for the forthcoming World Cup qualifying tournament.
Price will travel with the squad to The Netherlands, where the IWCC Trophy takes place from 19-28 July.
She has taken 54 catches and completed 25 stumpings in 67 one-day appearances for Australia, and has also played in eight Tests.
"Julia Price has worked with both Irish and Dutch cricket in the past, and this will help us prepare against two of the favourites in the tournament," said head coach Steve Seligmann.
Scotland will play the Dutch, Ireland, Pakistan, West Indies and Japan in a league format, with the top two going through to the 2005 World Cup in South Africa.
The squad will be captained by Kari Anderson, who hopes the tournament will also help raise the profile of the game among girls in Scotland.
"We don't fear any of the other teams and we are all looking forward to the challenge of competing at this level for the first time," she said.
Scotland Women's squad: Kari Anderson (capt), Fiona Campbell, Alison Ramsay, Sahar Aslam, Fiona Urquhart, Aileen Galvin, Shona McIntyre, Sara Maclean, Linda Spence, Caroline Sweetman, Jenny Mudie, Kathryn White, Annette Drummond, Vari Maxwell.
