Rogan's Harrison fight postponed

Audley Harrison

Belfast boxer Martin Rogan's planned heavyweight bout against Audley Harrison on 19 July has been postponed.

A statement from the fight's promoters Sports Network said the date for the Birmingham card had to be changed because of television scheduling.

The main bout was to have featured former world cruiserweight champion Enzo Maccarinelli.

"I'm totally gutted - I'm in the best shape of my life and this is a big kick in the teeth for me," said Rogan.

"How can they pull the show the Friday before the fight? Surely they knew the schedule for television."

The promoters said they hoped to announce a new date soon for the card at the Aston Events Centre.
