Lockett destroys Finn Kauramaki
Middleweight Gary Lockett hammered Finnish journeyman Kai Kauramaki in two rounds in Edinburgh on Saturday.
The Welshman dropped Kauramaki three times in the second before the referee stepped in to stop the fight.
Lockett, 31, is the WBO's number one contender, but the scheduled eight-rounder with Kauramaki, 40, was only his second fight of the year.
"I'm hoping I'll get my shot sometime in 2008. I've got world-class power and I will fight anyone," said Lockett.
