Matt Skelton retained his Commonwealth heavyweight title after an unimpressive majority points decision win over Michael Sprott in London.
Both fighters seemed content to resort to wrestling tactics and boos rang out after the ninth round.
A cheer greeted the arrival of the 12th and final round, before Skelton was announced as the winner.
One judge scored the fight a draw (114-114) but the other two (117-113 and 115-114) gave it to Skelton.
Promoter Frank Warren had promised the winner of the contest a world title shot by the end of the year but on the evidence of the performance, none of the four champions will be unduly worried by Skelton.
Kevin Mitchell added the vacant WBO Intercontinental super featherweight title to his IBF version with a second-round knockout of Alexander Hrluev.
The Russian could not win the title after coming in overweight and was out-classed by Mitchell, who was taller with a longer reach.
Hrluev was dropped with a crushing left hand before third man in the ring Howard Foster decided he had seen too much.
Mitchell, 22, is now unbeaten in 24 fights with 16 knockouts.
Welshman Bradley Pryce defended his Commonwealth light middleweight title with a seventh-round stoppage of Anthony Small.
Small, who had been unbeaten in 17 fights, started well but by the sixth round, Pryce's punches left him with a bloody nose.
In the next round, Pryce connected with a big right hand and the 26-year-old finished his opponent after two minutes and 14 seconds with a barrage of punches, to the dismay of Small and his fans.
