England is 'not exercising enough'

Half the population of England rarely take part in any sporting or physical activities, according to a recent survey.

Sport England's Active People study questioned 363,724 people aged 16 and over from across the country about their exercising habits over a 28-day period.

The Isles of Scilly are England's most active local authority, while Boston in Lincolnshire has the dubious honour of being the country's least active.

The survey revealed the main statistics for each of England's nine regions...
