Cwmbran look to topple Cardiff
![]() Carmarthen manager Tomi Morgan will be hoping to upset Wrexham at Richmond Park
Cwmbran Town will be hoping to capitalise on Cardiff's backroom uncertainty in the FAW Premier Cup on Tuesday night.
Cardiff sacked popular former manager Billy Ayre on Monday, following his demotion to senior coach. "I suppose you can sum it up by saying 'that's football'," Cwmbran's Roger Gibbins said. "Billy is a good man and he's worked hard for the club - I am sure he will get another job soon," he added. Cwmbran currently top the League of Wales, but Gibbins was not making predictions for the match against his former club. "We'll try our best and I hope it will be a good game," he said. Mark Kendall, former Wolves and Spurs keeper is likely to stay between the posts following a clean sheet in Saturday's 3-0 win over Barry Town. First-choice goalie Gary Wager can not play due to circumstances at home. Follow all Tuesday night's action on Midweek Sport, BBC Radio Wales 1900 BST with Rob Phillips , 882/657/1125 MW, 93-104 FM, and Sky Digital Channel 928. Carmarthen v Wrexham is on BBC2 Wales and BBC Choice Wales Live at 1850 BST. Full fixtures for Tuesday
