Injury sidelines Williams
Ebbw Vale flanker Paul Williams
Paul Williams will be replaced by Tondu's Karl Hocking
Skipper Paul Williams misses Wales Students' clash with their French counterparts at The Gnoll on Friday (kick-off 1900 GMT).

The Ebbw Vale flanker has a leg injury and will be replaced by Tondu's Karl Hocking.

There are six other changes from the side beaten by Ireland, with fly-half Gareth Chapman (UWIC) returning from Welsh Sevens duty to replace Paul Bamsey (Aberavon), who reverts to full-back.

Jonathan Hooper (Merthyr) starts the game at scrum-half and Llyr Lane (Newport) reverts to the bench, while Llanelli's Tal Selley comes in at centre.

With Michael Owen's selection for the A team, Alex Davidson (Gloucester) steps in from the under-21s squad to take his place.
