Chris Hoy won three golds, Bradley Wiggins won two titles to take his Olympic tally to six medals, while Victoria Pendleton and Rebecca Romero also triumphed on the track.
The team and coach Dave Brailsford picked up awards at December's BBC Sports Personality of the Year, with Hoy taking the top prize following a public vote.
