Sport Relief is back and is set to be bigger and better than ever in 2008.

This year the big buzz word is challenge and the idea is to do something sporty to raise cash for Sport Relief.

The ultimate way to get involved is to take part in one of the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Miles which are happening across the UK on March 16.

This year participants can set their own challenge by having the choice of completing one, three or six Miles.

There will be well over 200 Miles all around the UK so there is bound to be one close to you, so all you have to is sign up and start getting yourself sponsored!

Comic Relief will then spend the money you raise to help vulnerable people living incredibly tough lives both at home in the UK and in the world's poorest countries.

It costs 5 for adults and 2 for children (under 16) to enter the Mile, or 12 for family entry (two adults, two children). Entry fees cover costs only and do not include a donation to Sport Relief.

Sport Relief asks that everyone that takes part gets sponsored and raises money.

We are also looking for people to organise local Sport Relief Miles in Cities Towns and Villages all over the UK.

Don't forget that you don't have to do a Mile to raise money for Sport Relief, you could add a donation onto the usual cost of playing football, or arrange a special match?

Maybe you could do a sports quiz in the office or perhaps pay a set fee to wear a football shirt to work or school?

Remember by getting involved in The Sport Relief Weekend you're helping to change the world.

By doing sport, having fun and raising money, everyone can do good and feel good. So Sport Relief harnesses the power and passion of sport to change lives for the better.

The money you raise will be spent by Comic Relief to transform lives here in the UK and across the world's poorest countries.

So sign up for your nearest Mile, get sponsored and have fun with Sport Relief!

Due to the diverse nature of the 200+ venues across the UK we can't guarantee that all Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile courses are exactly one mile in length.

Whilst some may be slightly under a mile and some may be slightly over, they are all as near to a mile as possible.
