Sean Connery is the celebrity voice most likely to inspire people to donate according to research for Sport Relief.

To celebrate the Sport Relief donation line will feature BBC impressionist Jon Culshaw imitating his dulcet tones.

There will be a crack team of highly-trained telephone operatives in action on the night alongside an automated system taking donations.

Callers using the automated system will hear Jon Culshaw's impersonation of Sean Connery.

The regional accent most likely to make people dig deepest was Scottish (32 per cent), followed by Northern Irish (15.3 per cent) and Geordie (14.9 per cent). Last was the West Midlands accent (1.1 per cent).

The celebrities people would most like to run a mile with were Ewan McGregor (16.1 per cent), another Scottish victory in the poll! Followed by Judi Dench (14.2 per cent), Brad Pitt (10.8 per cent) and Jennifer Aniston (10.5 per cent).
