Nick Mullins
Nick Mullins is Rugby Special's roving reporter
Nick Mullins will be reporting for Rugby Special on the latest news in the game.
Nick grew up in Leicester and spent his formative years on the terraces at Welford Road supporting Leicester Tigers. His first break in journalism came on a local paper in Loughborough before joining BBC Radio Leicester. Mullins moved to Radio Kent in 1987 and became a Sports Producer, covering a range of sports. In 1991, Nick moved to Radio 5 Live where he was a producer for four years until the Rugby World Cup in 1995. It was in South Africa that Nick took on his first role as a broadcaster, while he was also still producing. Since moving into broadcasting, Nick has worked numerous sports events, including the 1999 Rugby World Cup, the Boat Race and the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Mullins also commentates on Six Nations games for the BBC. He is looking forward to the Commonwealth Games in Manchester later this year. |
