Sport on BBC Radio Merseyside

BBC Radio Merseyside is the place for you to hear all the latest news and commentary on the area's major teams.

The station broadcasts on 95.8 FM, 1485 AM, DAB Digital Radio and online at bbc.co.uk/liverpool, although some sporting events cannot be streamed online for contractual reasons.

Our top team of commentators will bring you football action from Liverpool, Everton, Tranmere Rovers and Chester City as well as the best from the rest of the area's sporting action including the latest commentaries on rugby league sides St Helens, Warrington Wolves and Widnes Vikings.

And you can see the best of the action on North West Tonight on BBC One at 1830 GMT on Mondays and the day after any midweek matches.
