Filippo Inzaghi: "I'm best friends with Thierry Henry"
Juventus striker Filippo Inzaghi takes a break from training to talk exclusively to BBC CHOICE on Thursday, 30 November in the latest edition of 45 Minutes

Italian international Filippo Inzaghi is regarded as one of the hottest properties in world football.

But the lightening quick Juventus star was happy to take a break from his busy training schedule to speak to former M People drummer Shovell.

I suppose because Thierry Henry plays for Arsenal I class myself as an Arsenal fan
The striker admitted he always enjoyed playing against Manchester United but said if he had to support one British club it would have to be Arsenal.

"I've played against Manchester United quite a few times, scoring a number of goals but that was never enough.

"Two years ago I scored goal against them in the Champions League but they still managed to get to the final.

"But I like English football because it is a clean sport. I also have friends in the Premiership such as Thierry Henry at Arsenal, who is one of my best friends and it is great to see him doing so well.

"I suppose because he plays for Arsenal I class myself as an Arsenal fan," added the Italian.

But he confirmed that a switch to the Premiership is an unlikely scenario at the moment because he is enjoying his time so much in Turin.

"I think it is a great honour to wear the Juventus shirt. We have a lot of fans around the world and when I play I try to do the best I can.

"Yes I love the fame and I do like to be seens as an important part of the club I play for but I know how lucky I am.

"Football was always my favourite past time because my family love it so much - it is the greatest sport in the world.

"My brother Simone is very talented and he also plays in Serie A and scored 20 goals for Lazio last season.

"We are both lucky enough to play in the national side - for two brothers that is a great achievement because it was always our childhood dream."

45 Minutes will be shown on BBC CHOICE on Thursday 30 November at 20:00 BST.
