John Lloyd
John Lloyd had success at Wimbledon in the mixed doubles
Former British No 1 John Lloyd playing at Wimbledon
Former British number one, John Lloyd was a Wimbledon champion twice in the mixed doubles with Wendy Turnbull in 1983 and 1984.

The pair were also losing finalists in 1982, although they had the considerable consolation of taking the French Open title in the same year.

Lloyd was the first Englishman of the 'Open' era to appear in a Grand Slam singles final - the Australian Open in 1977.

He also played for Britain in the Davis Cup for 11 years before going on to coach the team in more recent years.
