Bill Threlfall
Former Fleet Air Arm pilot Bill Threlfall has been a BBC commentator for 28 years.

He began his commentating career with ITV, before moving to BBC Radio.

He then switched to TV in 1974, and has been a regular at the Wimbledon Championships ever since.

As a player, Bill won a record eight Royal Navy titles, appeared at Wimbledon in the 1950s, and also represented England.

He began coaching in Italy in 1967, and has coached at the Hurlingham Club in London for the best part of three decades.

A five-times winner of the National Veterans Championship, Bill has played for Great Britain in numerous veterans competitions.
