Henin marches on
Justine Henin was the stronger player
Henin is into another semi-final

Justine Henin reached the ladies semi-finals at Wimbledon with a hard-fought victory over Monica Seles.

The Belgian had never beaten Seles in their previous meetings but she made no mistake this time to claim a straight sets victory.

Henin emerged victorious in a second set tie-break holding her nerve despite a battling display from her opponent.

The Belgian, last year's beaten finalist, took the first set with the crucial break coming in the 11th game.

Henin needed three break points to do it, but she went on to hold her serve in the following game to secure the advantage.

In the second set, Seles took three games in a row to lead 4-1, courtesy of some strong play from the baseline.

But Henin battled back to break her opponent and level at 4-4, before clinching victory with a superb display of attacking tennis.
