How to get there by rail/bus
Wimbledon's Centre Court
Find out details of how to get to Wimbledon by public transport.

Southfields Underground station, on the District Line, is the nearest stop to the grounds.

Trains to Southfields run every 5-8 minutes from Earl's Court station.

Shuttle bus services are available from Southfields underground station to the grounds every few minutes and from Victoria every half hour.

Alternatively, walk via Wimbledon Park Road, which will take about 15 minutes.

London General also operates buses direct from Marble Arch and Victoria to the championships every 30 minutes.

Tickets for return rail journeys may be purchased inside the grounds of the club at the travel centre in Aorangi Park.


There is a regular train service from London (Waterloo) to Wimbledon Station.

In addition, during the championships, some longer distance trains will call specially at Wimbledon, including trains from Portsmouth, Havant, Winchester, Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole, Basingstoke, Andover, Salisbury, Exeter, and other stations on these lines.

You can purchase rail tickets in advance on these services using a credit or debit card by telephoning 0845 6000 650 between 7am and 9pm (allow five days for delivery).

Shuttle bus services are available from Wimbledon station to the grounds, leaving every five minutes.

As car parking at the championships is strictly limited and traffic delays occur, all spectators are strongly urged to use public transport wherever possible.
