The best things about the club are that it is near to my house, so I can go any time; and also we have lights so you can play in the winter.
You can join our club through the website, contacting the coach, attending coaching sessions or attending Monday night social mix-in (adults).
There are five courts and three of them are floodlit. Another feature of the club is the friendly club bar. Also there are table tennis and pool leagues along with a bowling league and bowling green at the club.
How long have you been playing?
I have been playing tennis for about four or five years on and off. I play tennis to keep me fit and because it is fun. I go down to the club to play with friends, my brother and my training group.
Who can play at your club?
The club offers coaching for all ages and abilities. There is a comprehensive mini tennis programme and Ellie, the head coach, goes into schools to try and get more young people playing tennis.
There are men's and ladies local leagues and National Club League (NCL) teams and for our first year we have a girls under 16 NCL team and a boys under 18.
There is also a mums coaching session on Saturday.
Is tennis the only sport you play?

I play lots of other sports including football, cricket, Welsh baseball and rugby.
Football is my favourite sport. It is better than tennis because it is more of a team game than tennis, so you have your team mates to back you up. It is a contact game (being a central defender I love to tackle), and it is the sport I am probably the best at.
Can tennis improve its image in the UK?
Tennis could get a better image by introducing new court, ball, or tennis gear colours and also making Wimbledon less expensive and less posh.
Tennis is so good because it is competitive, you can have a laugh with your mates and IT KEEPS YOU FIT AND HEALTHY!!!!!
