11. Daniela Hantuchova
One of the bright young things on the WTA Tour, she has already shown she has the game to test the big names. The best game of her career may have ended in defeat in the third round of this year's Australian Open, but she took Venus Williams to the wire before being beaten 3-6, 6-0 6-4. A winner of two Grand Slam mixed doubles title, Hantchukova's height means she is an imposing opponent. She picked up her first singles title in March at Indian Wells - beating Jelena Dokic and Martina Hingis along the way - and in April was voted the WTA's sexiest player by a British magazine.
