28. Alexandra Stevenson
Stevenson will be looking to improve on her current French Open record of played two and lost two this month. On her current form, few would bet against her doing so. Having turned pro in 1999, Stevenson promptly reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon, but spectacularly failed to build on that success, becoming more famous for the antics of her controversial mother. She has one of the fastest serves in the game and, on her day, thunders her way past some of the world's best. Her most impressive result this season came back in March in Memphis where she reached the final before being halted by Martina Hingis.
