21. Anna Smashnova
After impressing on the junior world stage and being named Tennis magazine's rookie of the year in 1994, Smashnova has failed to live up to early expectations. While still a sometimes imposing and attacking player, much more was expected of her than her current crop of four career singles titles. That said, two of those titles came back to back at the start of 2002 - in Auckland and Canberra. She has also won at Roland Garros before, taking home the junior title as a 14-year-old back in 1991.
