24. Lisa Raymond
At 28, Raymond is a relative veteran of her profession but she still has the ability to win on the WTA Tour. She defeated Alexandra Stephenson in Memphis back in February for her only singles title of the season but a neck injury forced her to take a brief break from competition in April. Only once has she made any major in-roads at the French Open, reaching the last 16 in 1997. However, she tends to save her best for the doubles and is the current world number one.
